ETHTaipei 2025 and ETHGlobal Join Forces for Blockchain Innovation

Taipei is set to host ETHTaipei 2025, the premier annual event for the Ethereum community, at POPOP Taipei in April 2025. This year, ETHTaipei teams up with ETHGlobal, an esteemed hackathon organizer, to present a compelling lineup of events, including two days of insightful conferences and three dynamic days of hackathons.

Keynote Address and Panel Discussions by Vitalik Buterin

Taking place on April 1 and 2, the conference will be headlined by Vitalik Buterin, one of Ethereum's co-founders, who is scheduled to deliver a keynote address and engage in several panel discussions. While the specifics of his presentation remain under wraps, the anticipation continues to build among attendees eager to hear his insights.

Exploring Advanced Ethereum Technologies

The conference will encompass two distinct tracks: Decentralized Finance (DeFi) and Protocol Technology. Over 40 leading professionals from esteemed organizations such as the Ethereum Foundation, Arbitrum, Uniswap, and Polygon will provide in-depth insights on critical topics including Real World Assets (RWA), security measures, privacy concerns, account abstraction wallets, Zero-Knowledge proofs (ZK), Miner Extractable Value (MEV), and Layer 2 scaling solutions.

Participants will have further opportunities to enhance their skills through a series of technical workshops, enabling hands-on experience in building projects using Ethereum technology. Collaboration with ETHGlobal

In a bid to foster international collaboration, ETHTaipei 2025 is proud to partner with ETHGlobal for the ETHGlobal Taipei Hackathon, happening from April 4 to 6, right after the main conference. Kartik Talwar, Co-Founder of ETHGlobal, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, noting Taipei's flourishing developer ecosystem and the potential for innovative solutions to emerge from the hackathon with a $150,000 prize pool. Participants will face challenges in areas such as ZK proofs, AI-crypto integration, and the latest advancements in DeFi and Layer 2 scalability.
